We are looking into other trash providers (solid waste). The law and rule in Guilford county is that you can have anyone that you want to pick up your trash. Once there (in the 1970's) there was one company that had a franchise for the whole county, but no longer is what i have been told. The committee is contacting several companies to see if anyone will give us an over-all better rates and service. I know that Republic handed out noticed today to every home. check here for more information. very soon
The city has said they will provide trash service until March 12th. so don't feel rushed to make a decision.

I would like to see a company that handles yard waste removal. Republic waste was very pricey when it came to picking up bags of grass and sticks. Just something to consider.
